The report contains a total of 34 recommendations. A Joint Implementation Plan between the Department of Justice and An Garda Síochána was published by the Justice Minister in September 2022. This plan shows that two of the recommendations (numbers 11 and 30) are fully implemented.
At a meeting with the Garda Anti-Corruption Unit in November 2022, the Inspectorate was provided with additional information that confirmed that Recommendation number 28 is also fully implemented. Actions to address the other 31 recommendations are at different stages of completion and the Inspectorate will continue to monitor their progress.
