We have developed a Work Plan for the period 2019 to 2021 which sets out seven areas where we will carry out self-initiated inspections of particular aspects of the work of the Garda Síochána. These areas were chosen following consultation with key stakeholders and taking into account the level of risk to human rights, public safety, public confidence, reputation and financial management.

As part of our work plan we will also look at the status and relevance of recommendations which we have made in previous reports and we will develop a template for a divisional inspections. A copy of the Work Plan is available below.
